When Roles are Reversed

The Habit was in the middle of his sleep when I asked.

Me: Can I rape you?
The Habit: uh-huh

And then we made love.

--

While having one of our wine and dine nights at Barcino.
Me: Wanna have a quickie?
The Habit: But I no longer have a room. I checked out earlier today.
Me: Who said we need a room? There’s a restroom in this restaurant. I take the lead and you follow.
The food server who overheard us was bewildered.

--

Women in sales are quite popular in Greenbelt. Seatle’s Best is located in that area and this is our meeting place when we meet before having dinner.

So one night, The Habit was already waiting for me. There were a lot of girls ogling at him looking like a vulture to a prey. The Habit was so glad when I arrived. That I approached him and said, “Can I take you home?” The Habit although bewildered, not surprisingly said, “Yes.”

The women in sales were amazed how easy it was for me to pick-up a kano.

--

The Habit announced that he was going to the salon that afternoon. So when we met later that evening, his eyes fluttered but I chose to ignore it. Too engrossed on myself, I babbled on how my day went.

After a good hour of talking, he could not take it any longer.

The Habit: Have you noticed something new with me?
Me: Oh, yeah. The nose. It grew longer.
And so I continued with my stories. Then The Habit cut me off.
The Habit: No. I went to the salon – dyed and cut my hair.
Me: Oh yeah. I knew that there was something new with you but I just couldn’t figure out what. Must be the nose or some facial. But yeah, must be the hair.

Haha.

Dying at Work

In one of our heartfelt phone conversations with my boss, I said. “I’m dying. I’m dying.”

And so she replied, “No Ellen. You are not dying. You are not dying.”
I guess I can say some darnest things to my boss. Until I’ll find out I am gonna get fired. Haha.
---

I am covering for my team lead on her maternity leave. The new team doesn’t know my work ethics yet. So one day I called for a meeting. I was too busy tinkering my laptop with various reports that when they arrived, I didn’t notice. They might have been sitting for good five minutes before I noticed them. And so I started, “Okay. Who is leading the prayer?”

Everyone’s jaw dropped. :)

See. It’s still fun to be me.

Super Boss

Paano Magiging Isang Magandang Amo

FYA – for your action!

Feelings

That feeling of loneliness after someone leaves.

That feeling of loneliness after being left behind.

That feeling of loneliness after leaving home.

That feeling of sadness knowing things won’t ever be the same.

That feeling of sadness knowing that he won’t be there for you anymore.

That feeling of sadness after letting go.

That feeling of undoing a routine.

That feeling you feel when everyone has moved on with their lives and you are the only one left behind.

That feeling you feel when you miss home. Terribly.

That feeling of not knowing what the future holds.
